💍 Product Overview: The Corona 2.4G R4SF, R6SF, and R8SF receivers are advanced solutions designed for seamless compatibility with FUTABA S-FHSS/FHSS 2.4GHz transmitters. Whether you're piloting an airplane, flying a helicopter, or steering a car, these receivers deliver optimum performance across various types of RC models.
🔴 Compatibility: These receivers are engineered to work with a wide range of FUTABA transmitters, including but not limited to the air systems like T4YF, T6J, T6K, T8J, T10J, T14SG, T18MZ, T18SZ, and surface systems such as 3PL, T3PRKA, 4PLS, T4PX, and T4GRS, all under the S-FHSS/FHSS protocol mode.
🔧 Key Features:
⚡ Technical Specifications:
🔘 Binding Procedure: Ensure a successful connection between your transmitter and receiver by following these straightforward steps: Power on your S-FHSS/FHSS transmitter and keep it approximately 0.5 to 1 meter from the receiver. Connect the battery to the receiver while simultaneously pressing the F/S button. When the red LED is lit and the green LED is off, it indicates the receiver is searching for a signal. Once the bind is successful, the green LED will illuminate and the red LED will turn off.
🧩 Fail-Safe Settings: The R8SF, R6SF, and R4SF models incorporate a fail-safe feature that can be easily set via the S-FHSS/FHSS transmitter, akin to the functionality found in FUTABA receivers (if applicable). It is highly recommended to configure the fail-safe settings while operating your models. A practical fail-safe setup would involve shutting off the model's throttle to prevent uncontrolled flight or movement.
🔘 Mode Selection Guide: For users wishing to switch between modes, ensure that your receiver is linked to your transmitter and powered off. When the receiver's LED is red, hold down the receiver button for between 6 and 10 seconds, then release. The LED will flash green, indicating a transition between modes. This toggle allows you to switch between Special mode (enabling S.BUS output on the last servo channel) and Normal mode. Should you ever need to revert the receiver to Normal mode, simply rebind it with your transmitter.
🧈 Servo Selection Guide: Choosing servos is crucial for optimizing performance. If you plan to use analog servos, Normal mode is recommended. For enhanced responsiveness and a smoother flight experience, switching to digital servos in Special mode is advisable.
