About the Zigbee Version:
- The Zigbee Version operates using the efficient Zigbee protocol, which allows seamless communication with compatible devices but does not connect directly to WiFi.
- To function, it requires a Tuya Zigbee Hub or a Tuya Multi-mode gateway; please note that other gateways are not supported.
- While integration with Alexa is possible, it necessitates a compatible Zigbee Hub such as the Echo 4th Generation, Echo Plus, Echo Show 10 (all models except the 1st Generation), or Echo Studio.
- Battery is not included in the package, ensuring you can choose the best option for your setup.
⚡ About the WiFi Version:
- The WiFi Version connects directly to your home WiFi network (2.4GHz), eliminating the need for an additional hub, which simplifies the installation process.
- Like the Zigbee version, creating Routes on Alexa is not supported.
- Please note that the battery is not included in the package.
⚡ Monitoring Principles:
- This sensor uses sophisticated infrared technology to monitor environmental changes, which allows it to detect human presence accurately.
- When installing, it is crucial to mount the sensor away from direct sunlight and other heat sources to prevent inaccurate readings.
- The system can only detect changes in background radiation, so it does not monitor the movement of background radiation itself.
- To minimize false alarms, the sensor implements intelligent logical judgments:
- Initial Detection: When no movement is detected and a presence is sensed, the sensor triggers an alarm and activates a 30-second countdown timer, during which it will not check for further movement.
- Countdown Reset: If the timer ends and there is still movement, the countdown resets for another 30 seconds.
- No Movement Reset: If there is no detected movement for 10 seconds after the timer ends, it resets to "no one state."
- This means that immediate tests, such as waving your arms, post-setup will not yield accurate results. To properly test, leave the sensor's detection range completely for at least 40 seconds before re-approaching.
